I made a few quick switcheroos to the website, today. Since I’m not releasing a lot of albums, I decided to switch places between the albums and blogs pages.

Akismet is scary good at weeding out spam from real comments, but lately there is a trend to use actual text in spam posts instead of just a jibberish hash of characters.

In additional news for today, I was able to “find” those missing comments.
The theme I was using somehow decided not to show comments that came from anyone without any kind of WordPress credentials. I don’t know if that was the reason, but it was the only thing the blocked comments had in common.

While I was away for the weekend, Akismet stopped forty spam messages cold in their tracks before they could be published.
